Adam here with your Iration update. We’re gonna be bringing a little bit of sunshine and Aloha spirit your way in November and December on our “Lei’d Back Fall Tour.” We’re stoked to be bringing two great bands with us for your listening pleasure: ‘The Movement’ from Philadelphia and Hawaii’s ‘The Green’. This is our first national headline tour so you guys can expect an Indian summer this fall! We have a new EP in the works so new music is guaranteed.
For all our Hawaii ohana, Iration will be in the islands for the marriage of Catlin Peterson. He is one of our best friends, brother to Cayson, and former Irator singer/guitarist. We will stay in the islands to play two select shows on Oahu and Maui. Bamp Projects will present an All Ages Iration show at Pipeline Café October 7th with The Green and two shows, one all ages (doors at 2pm) and one 21+ (doors at 9pm), on Maui Oct 9th at Lahaina’s Hard Rock Café with The Throwdown.
After some R&R and hopefully some early-season North swells, we’ll be heading back to Cali to rock a huge show @ Cypress Hill’s annual Smokeout Festival in San Bernadino. We’ll be jamming along side such acts as Incubus, Slightly Stoopid, Nas & Damian Marley, MGMT, Atmosphere and many more. We couldn’t be more psyched. Hope to see you there!
Well that’s all for now, make sure to check our Facebook page or IrationTheBand.com for a show in your neck of the woods this fall, and be sure to get your tickets early, we’re anticipating some craziness and a show you won’t soon forget.
The modern reggae-rock sound continues to evolve and improve. As of now it can almost stand alone as a sub-genre of reggae music. Bands like Rebelution, SOJA, JBB, and Groundation, just to name a few, have cemented their respective places in the reggae-rock world. Others, like Hawaii’s Iration are starting to make their mark. Their second full-length album ‘Time Bomb’ proves that they at least deserve a place at the table. ‘Time Bomb’ is full of catchy hooks, good vibes, and quality musicianship.
Hear that? That's the seconds ticking away until we kick off the Time Bomb Tour. After some amazing shows with 311 and spending time with family and friends, we're back in California and ready to rock. We're still in the iTunes Top 10 Reggae albums and we're pumped to tour the West Coast in support of the album.
First and foremost, THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our shows for the Winter Blackout Tour with The Expendables, Passafire, Pour Habit, and Roots Down Below. There's nothing quite like touring the country with your friends playing music to raging crowds. We love you all. Colin and Cesar, contrary to popular belief, we also love you. Seriously. We're going to take this brief time off from the road to sleep in our very own beds, reflect on just what exactly transpired over these past months, and do work at our rehearsal & recording studio to make our upcoming headline shows extra special.
