Who needs the sun to have summertime fun? | Oregon Music News

In these Portland springtime days, summer feels like a time bomb waiting to explode.  Thankfully Iration’s Time Bomb Tour will bring some preemptive summer sounds to the Hawthorne Theatre on May 2nd.

Iration earned their fame stirring up live audiences.  Hawaii born and raised, Iration band members moved to Isla Vista where they played house parties at UC Santa Barbara. After cultivating a local SoCal following, they’re going on their first headlining tour named after their March release, Time Bomb.  Their chilling-on-the-beach vibe turns energized during live performances as Kai Rediske and Micah Pueschel share front stage vocals with agreeable harmonies, catchy melodies, and relatable lyrics about young love.

Thanks for the write up Jaime! May 2nd will be here before you know it.

Iration Plays Late Night At House Of Blues

From before their set started, at around 11:30PM , security guards were already busy trying to find the pot smokers that kept filling the room with smoke. Fans screaming while the band was doing sound checks behind the curtain and when finally the curtain opened, a great intro to get the party started. Reggae with energy and talent.

From the first songs, “Electricity” and “Wait and See” the band had a lot of entertaining energy filled with movement, jumping up and down, smiles you could tell the band was having as good as a time as the crowd.

Thanks for the write up Chris! We miss playing Isla Vista too. Anaheim went off for sure on Friday!
